Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Scramble ("the App"), operated by Meyers Digital Labs, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. User Accounts & Security

To access premium features and sync passcodes, you must authenticate via Google Sign-In.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Google account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Virtual Credits & Payments

Service Economy:

• Scramble uses a credit-based system. Credits are required for copying scrambled text and performing full decryptions.
• No Cash Value: Credits are virtual items with no monetary value. They cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred outside of the App.
• Purchases: All purchases are processed via the Google Play Store and are subject to their terms and conditions.
• Free Credits: We may offer "starter" credits upon first signup. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue these promotional offers at any time.

4. Account Deletion & Credit Forfeiture

As stated in our Privacy Policy and within the App interface, Account Deletion is permanent.

• When you delete your account, all associated data, including earned and purchased credits, is immediately and permanently erased.
• No refunds will be issued for remaining credits upon voluntary account deletion.

5. User Content & Local Encryption

You retain all rights to the messages you encrypt. However, you acknowledge that Scramble is a local tool. We do not keep backups of your unencrypted messages. If you delete the App or lose your passcode, we cannot recover your data for you.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

• Generate or share content that is illegal, threatening, or abusive.
• Attempt to circumvent the App's credit system or billing logic.
• Interfere with the servers or networks connected to the App.

7. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.

8. Changes to Service

Scramble is an evolving product. We may change features, credit costs, or service requirements at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the App interface.
